THE ONE WITH THE ICE CREAM
September 28, 2026
There were six friends sitting on the table of Honey Bee House.
There was one tub of vanilla ice cream that each of them passed to the other after having one spoon of ice cream.
Jenifer had a spoon of ice cream and started, “ I don’t think my career and the job roles I like are going to pay me well.”
She gave the ice cream tub to Preethi.
“We have crossed only 2 weeks of this month, I have zero money left and I still need to pay my room rent.”
Preethi had a spoon of ice cream and passed it to Rakesh.
“I think I’m never going to get the job role I actually want…”
He passed the tub to Ravi.
“My parents are forcing me to get married…”
Took a spoon of ice cream and passed the tub to Janice.
“I never knew losing him was this hard…”
She had a spoon of ice cream and passed it to Chandhu.
“My parents are fighting again, it might even lead to a divorce this time…”
They all had different stories to mourn for.
But they all had each other too.
And they especially had a tub of ice cream that they shared as they shared their life's hardships.
